All Saint's and Soul's Day in the Philippines

November 1, is the "All Saint's Day" the day which is dedicated for the saints that die with good manner and forgiven by God.

November 2, is the All Soul's Day, this is the day for all the souls that passed away or the deaths. Generally, when this day came, the cemetery will be like a park or a mall that full of people, cause they visit the tomb of their relatives. And commonly, the prayers will be given to them, and there is also a mass for the catholics as a part of praying.

In the house, praying also in front of the altar is the usual event, then after praying, there are some food that was prepared by the host. Commonly, the foods are Biko, Suman, Kalamay, Puto-maya, Bibingka, Breads and others that is usually a GO FOODS or a carbohydrate containing food. And with this event, usually the  people from far places that is part of the family will go home.

Together with this event is what they called a HALLOWEEN, that seem scary because of the mask that is popular that day.

By our prayers and determinations to our main reason of praying, we can be the key for the salvation of the souls we've dedicated.
